Miss Houston Teen USA 2008 - Hannah Kirkland
Hannah Kirkland, a fifteen year old, pretty blonde won the title of Miss Houston Teen USA 2008 and also won the Evening Gown Award in the teen division. She is a freshman cheerleader and was selected as a Friendswood High School JV cheerleader for 2008-2009, just one week after winning the title. Hannah is involved in numerous school and community activities including Young Life, Campaigners, a volunteer for D.A.R.E. Red Ribbon kick-off, Student Life Mission Camp, Volunteer Day of Compassion through her church and she was selected as a “Student with Character” for February 2008 by the freshman faculty. She is active in Friendswood Community Church and a member of C.L.E.A.R, a drug free commitment program. Hannah modeled last summer at the Atlanta Fashion Mart for a prom and bridal designer. Her future plans include attending the University of Texas and someday owning an interior design business. Hannah’s first involvement in pageantry was supporting her sister, Jessica who is Miss Bay Area Teen USA 2007 and was a semifinalist at Miss Texas Teen USA 2008. Her proud parents are Corey and Tracy Kirkland and she has a terrific brother, Hunter.
