Girl Scout Appearance
Hannah recently appeared at an award ceremony/talent show for a local girl scout troop! Raigan Harris also participated, just before she was crowned Miss Bay Area Teen. Hannah says:
This was a super exciting event because I love working with kids and these girls were so sweet and polite. When I was teaching them how to model they took my advice and did such an amazing job! I wish them the best in their future endeavors.

Apricot Lane Appearance
I had such a blast at this event! I got to meet so many nice people including the other models! Modeling gives me such a thrill and Taylor being there made it even more fun! Hopefully we get to do more of those!

Miss Dallas Pageant
I am so glad I got to witness the crowning of Miss Dallas 2010 Sarah Boehner and Miss Dallas Teen 2010 Hayley Spathias! They did such an amazing job along with all of the other contestants! The performances by the dancers were also ablast to watch (I wish I could dance like that)! On top of that I got to meet a ton of new people which is always fun! I just want to wish these two beautiful ladies the best year possible!

Channel 13 Crossroads with Melanie Lawson on Teen Achievements!
Being on channel 13 so super cool! Before I arrived to the studio I wasn’t nervous but right when I stepped into the taping room I got extremely nervous. To calm my nerves I just sat and thought about some pointers JJ had given me and that solved everything! Along with getting interviewed I got to meet 3 other well accomplished teenagers as well! This was such an awesome opportunity and experience!

Mother-Daughter Luncheon Houston, Tx.
What a honor it was to host as Mistress of Ceremonies at a Mother-Daughter Luncheon at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church held at Vargos Restaurant in Houston, Tx. Very distinguished guests that were honored were Robin Givens and Aida Edwards!

Dillard’s Beauty Trend Show
Miss Houston Taylor Lanning, Miss Bay Area Nicole Golyer, and Miss Houston Teen Hannah Johannes participated in Dillard’s Beauty “Trend Show” at the Galleria store. The girls modeled fashion spring clothes and interacted with the customers with the newest beauty trends.

Hannah at Miss Houston Prom Queen
Miss Houston Teen 2010, Hannah Johannes was a special guest of Page Parkes Modeling Agency and H. Harlequin Dress Boutique in Houston. She signed autographed pictures and helped took part in the crowning of the Miss Houston Prom Queen 2010 Contest.
From Hannah: This was my first appearance and it was so fun! I got to sign autographs and give the winner her scholarship to Page Parks which was super cool! All the girls did such a great job and I hope they had a fantastic time!

Jenny’s Farewell
This past weekend was Miss Houston and Miss Houston Teen 2010. SUCH a bittersweet day for me! This year has just flown by…it seems like I was just crowned Miss Houston Teen 2009 yesterday! It has been such an amazing year for me getting to work with different organizations, having lots of appearances, and just watching myself grow and mature. It’s weird to think how much has changed in this past year–in a good way of course!
I couldn’t be more thrilled for Taylor Lanning and Hannah Johannes, the new title holders. I know they will have a fantastic year and do so well at Miss Texas USA and Miss Texas Teen USA. The Miss Houston staff is the absolute best out there and they are so lucky to get to work with all of them this next year! Denise is such a pleasure to work with; she will go out on the limb for anybody do make sure they feel comfortable and prepared-such an wonderful person!
I wish these new girls the best, and I will see all of YOU in a few months at Miss Bay Area, where I’ll be competing in my first Miss pageant!! I may not be Miss Houston Teen anymore, but my pageant days are far from being over!

Shriner’s Hospital Visit
Jessica Mitchell, Miss Bay Area Teen, and I visited Shriner’s Hospital in Houston on Monday. It was such a neat experience! We got to learn about the history of the hospital, go on a tour, and learned so many interesting facts about Shriner’s. We got to visit with some of the children, which was the best part. It was a lot of fun! I can’t believe Miss Houston 2010 is this weekend, this year flew by! I’m so excited about it though!!
