Miss Bay Area 2011 - Erin Kay

Erin Kay was selected as Most Photogenic and won the crown of Miss Bay Area 2011 held at the University of Houston Clear Lake, Bayou Theatre on July 9, 2011. The self-proclaimed “Islander by Choice,” Erin Kay calls Galveston Island home and is the Membership Development Director for the Galveston Chamber of Commerce. She is a founding member of the C-Crewe, a young professionals group created by the chamber to engage Galveston’s young business community.

Additionally, Erin serves on the board of directors for Clean Galveston, a non-profit organization committed to keeping Galveston beautiful. She is a 2009 honor graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. Erin was a very active student-leader filling the rolls of Vice President of Membership for her sorority, Event Chair of the Association of Future Alumni and President of 80 Proof, an organization committed to encouraging responsibility. She also participated on the Student Orientation Staff and co-founded an event designed to help freshmen with their transition to college. The event has become an annual function at her alma mater.

The brunette beauty exudes excitement about the opportunity to use her title to be of service to the Greater Galveston / Bay Area community. Erin will proudly represent her sponsors and the Bay Area crown at the state competition, MISS TEXAS USA® 2012.
